Several functions of the editor are known as simple Font Attributes:

To apply any Simple Font Attribute: 1. Highlight the text in question, or position the cursor where you wish to begin producing text of the desired style. 2. Click the desired simple text attribute format Icon in the toolbar. The text will take on the desired attribute.
To remove any simple Font Attribute: The simple font attributes are "self toggling", so that to remove the font attribute: 1. Select the text with the attribute you wish to remove. 2. Click the simple text format attribute Icon in the toolbar. The attribute will be immediately removed.
Note: All of these functions work in virtually identical manner. Some have keyboard shortcuts as shown below.

Bold - Gives the selected text have a Bold character. You can use the keyboard shortcut, CTRL+B to perform this function. |
