The Table Properties function provides the ability to modify various dimensional and visual characteristics of a table.
1. Select the table by clicking on its outside border. Small boxes at the corners and mid points of the sides of the table will appear when it has been successfully selected.
2.Click the Table Properties Icon on the Toolbar.
The dialog Box will appear.
Enter the values and information for each field. (You may leave the border, width, cell padding and cell spacing blank).
Definitions:

The Border is a frame around the image which can have a color and thickness.

Cell Padding defines a margin of the specified number of pixels around the contents of each cell.

Cell Spacing defines a margin of the specified number of pixels all around the cell.

The Width defines the width of the table in pixels.

The Border Color defines the color of the border around the entire table.

The Border Color Light defines the color of the border around the left and top edge of the Table. Note: this will override the Border Color.

The Border Color Dark defines the color of the border around the right and bottom edge of the Table. Note: this will override the Border Color.

The Background Color defines the background color of the entire table.

The Inner Display determines how the cell boundaries will be displayed.
To set the Border, Cell Padding, Cell Spacing, and Width of the Table:
1. Type the number of the pixels into the box adjacent to the feature as desired. 2.Click Apply to preview your setting. 3. Click OK to finish.
To set the Inner Display:
1.Click the down arrow to the right of the selection box. 2.Select the desired choice by clicking on it with your mouse.
The Color attributes can be set in more than one way:
You can simply type the name of a common color in the color field in english.
or
Type in the hexadecimal value for the color if you know it.
or
Click the color icon adjacent to the color field to launch the color palette, then use your pointer to select a color in the palette and click on it with your mouse button to set the color.
then
1. Click Apply to set and preview the color selection. 2. Click OK to complete the color selection. 3. Click Apply to preview your edits. 4. Continue Editing until you are satisfied with the result. 5. Click OK to finish |
