The Insert Table function creates and inserts a table onto the web page.
1. Position the cursor on the page where you wish to locate the table. 2. Click the Insert Table Icon on the Toolbar.
The Insert Table Dialog Box will appear.

3. Enter the values and information for each field. (You may leave the border, width and cell padding blank).
Definitions

The Border is a frame around the table which has thickness defined by the number of pixels set in the dialog box.

Cell Padding defines a margin of the specified number of pixels around the contents of each cell.

Cell spacing defines a margin of the specified number of pixels all around the cell.

The Width is the initial horizontal size of the table in pixels.
1. Determine the initial values for the number of rows and columns for the table. The drop down allows up to 10 maximum, initially, for each. You can later add or remove rows or columns as you wish to modify the table. 2. Click the Insert button. The table will be placed into the page. 3. Close the dialog box.
Note: You may use the Table Properties Function to modify any or all Table attributes after it has been created. |
