This is an advanced Utility.

It is designed primarily for use in conjunction with migration of existing web content into VSM. It is especially useful for supporting images when migrating pages with multiple embeded images into the VSM Editor. It provides a quick means to update all the image file name paths of the embeded images to be redirected to your VSM Image Library in a single step. Some clients have migrated pages with well over 30 images per page. This advanced utility saves a great deal of time in such cases.

To Correct the Image Paths of all copied images on an imported page:

1. First: Save each image to your Library by the most expedient means;
(typically, right click, then save as, etc...)

Very Important! Do not rename the images or change the names in any way when you save them.
Next, use your multiple image uploader to transfer the images into your VSM Image Library.

2. Copy the page into the editor.
3. Select one image in the page within the editor.
4. Click the Correct Image Path Icon 
5. Edit the Path
6. Click "   Replace Path   " All the images on the page will be re-targeted!
7. View the Report; Click Ok.

The images on your page will now be correctly sourced from your Image Library instead of from the original source.

The alternative method is to reinsert all the images from your library, which, in the case of 30 + images, can take many minutes per page. In the event of many such pages, this utility can save hours of migration time.
